Tsatsi Legae Canteen Services was established in November 2024 as a strategic joint venture between two reputable companies in the catering and events industry: Tsatsi Events and Projects and Legae La Meletlo.

The partnership was formed following the successful awarding of a five-year contract by the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) to provide canteen and catering services at the K1 Canteen, Radio Park.

Driven by a shared vision to deliver exceptional food service solutions, the joint venture combines Tsatsi Events’ extensive experience in event logistics and Legae La Meletlo’s strong heritage in hospitality and culinary excellence

SABC Radio


Since inception, Tsatsi Legae Canteen Services has been fully operational at SABC’s K1 Canteen, delivering daily canteen services to staff and guests with consistency and quality.
In addition to day-to-day operations, the company provides catering for multiple internal departments across SABC, including:

  1. TV Outside Broadcast (TVOB)
  2. Board Meetings
  3. Executive and Internal Departmental Events
  4. Ad Hoc Staff Functions and Engagements

This contract highlights the trust placed in our joint venture’s capacity to handle both routine and high-level service needs.

The contract started in 2024 and will run until the end of October 2029.

SABC Television


Tsatsi Legae Canteen Services is currently providing daily canteen services to SABC staff and guests under a contract that commenced in March 2026 and will run until 2031.

Through this project, we deliver quality meals and refreshments with consistency, professionalism, and reliability.

This long-term contract reflects the trust placed in our company's ability to manage both routine catering operations and high-level service requirements while maintaining excellent standards of food quality and customer service.

COSAFA Under-17 Qualifiers 2024 – SABC Broadcasters Catering

We proudly catered for over 200 participants and staff members during the COSAFA Under-17 football tournament held at UJ Stadium in Soweto and UJ Auckland Park Campus.
This project demonstrated our ability to mobilize, coordinate, and deliver under strict timelines and logistical demands.

Tsatsi Legae Canteen Services proudly provided catering services for the TVOB crew during the EFF National Conference hosted at the NASREC Expo Centre.
This assignment required tailored service delivery to accommodate the dynamic schedules and high-energy demands of a media production team operating in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Morocco AFCON–SABC Sports Crew Catering

Tsatsi Legae Canteen Services proudly provided catering services at haley studio SABC Auckland Park during Morocco AFCON,from 21 December 2025 to 18 January 2026. Served 4200 crew memebers.
This project demonstrated our capability to provide reliable catering solutions for major sporting broadcasts and high-profile media events, reinforcing our commitment to professionalism, consistency, and customer satisfaction.
